What is a cv?




the word cv comes from the latin name Curricuulum Viate which means"Life story",
it is arecord of your personal,educational and work details and it is your first chance to make a good impression.
Information should be in the cv.
1.Identification and contact information; write who you are? and how to contact you?, write your name in the title,address, your emailand phone numbers.
2.write asummary about your self, your skills and your work goals.
3.Work experience; write about your recent work ,where you worked and remember to write start and finish dates,and don't leave the reader guess where you were employed or for how long.
4.Educational information; Your CV shouldn’t just say what you learnt,but also how you learnt it, you should listcompleted details about your degrees, diplomas and certificates including anycurrent studies and include your learning areas.
5.Cv should include your skills(computer skills and language), activities, Interests, hobbies and responsibilities.
6.trainings;include the name of training, where you did it and when you completed it.
7.Honours, achievements and awards recieved;note;Interests are not always relevant on an academic CV and you should use your judgementto decide how much information to include.
